“ It's your grandpa's diner. It's a classic and a staple for the area. The food is made with love and the servers have been there for decades it feels. Go and get some delicious food. I had one of the specials, a falafel melt and it was truly so good! Please put that on the menu! ”

“ The most delicious salmon dinner and happy face pancakes. This restaurant is a hidden gem. They are kid friendly with coloring pages and crayons. The restaurant is clean and spacious. The prices are fair and there are free soda refills. The best parking can be found behind the restaurant as it’s on a busy street but there is a back door you can enter in very easily. Thank you Kristina for such excellent service! ”

One of the few places you can get good food at a cheap price, in this day & age. And they are good about substitutions, since I have dietary restrictions and allergies. ”
“ Last Sunday I hosted a baby shower for my best friend in the private room at La Plaka and I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out. We were able to get into the room early to decorate and the servers and owner were all so polite and caring. Everyone ordered off the menu and our food came out quickly. Our group was able to order a variety of breakfasts as well as souvlakis and we all cleaned our plates. The cost was very reasonable and we were able to bring in our own cake for a small fee. The parking lot in the back was really convenient so we weren’t forced to park on Delaware. I’d highly recommend this restaurant for a small party with up to two dozen people. ”
